IT'S SO NICE TO MEET YOU!

I started out taking photos of my horses back in 2016. I fell in love with capturing the beauty in simplicity, with the idea of stopping time in its tracks, and actually being able to, just for a moment, with a camera in hand. I was born and raised in Utah, so the Salt Flats have always been a major source of inspiration for me. They are the perfect location for capturing love in all its forms, for stopping time itself and preserving the intricate details of a precious moment, a moment you will cherish for the rest of your life.

I have an eye for detail, but my eye for fashion has been a key influence in my creative expression as well. As my photography business started to take off, I began to buy dresses for my clients to take photos in. The dresses are made from tulle and are so intricately designed, woven with such purpose that I believe they have the power to completely transform a photograph. They can alter a fleeting moment and create a moment that will stand the test of time. A moment that you will want to hold in the palm of your hand, and cherish for the rest of your life. The dresses, now called Salt Gowns, have become an integral part of my journey as a photographer and as a business owner.

For me, taking photos comes as naturally as breathing. This allows me to be fully present for you while capturing your special moment. Before every shoot, I invest my time in getting to know you and your story. This allows me to take not only beautiful photos, but to tell your story in a language that speaks to you and evolves as you do. 
It comes down to connection.

As important as it is to capture your special moment, be that your wedding, elopement, or maternity shoot, connection is the most impactful part of everything I do as your photographer. My approach is simple: capture the real life moments that make life magic. It’s not about positioning you in the perfect pose or finding the cookie cutter location. It’s about capturing the real, raw, authentic emotion that makes you, you. It’s about discovering what makes us human, grabbing that by the hand, and showing it off to the world. 

Your photos are about who you are and what’s important to you. They’re about the details. They’re about the bigger picture. They’re about the feel. The experience. 
It all matters. 

As your photographer, I am here to not only capture photos, but to help make the process and experience for you as seamless as possible on your big day. To do this, I am a firm believer in building a foundation of friendship. This mutual trust and understanding between the two of us will ensure that you have someone who knows you and what you want from your photos. I am a storyteller at heart, and want to help bring your vision to life. I will help with your timeline, guide you through some decisions and make the overall process as smooth as possible so you can enjoy yourself in the moment. 

There is so much more behind a single image. The happy tears, the joy, the sadness, the laugh, the hug, the journey. Your story matters, and it is my mission to create meaningful, genuine photos that become an integral part of your journey. Hi! I’m Nicole. I’ve been taking photos for as long as I can remember. I love the idea of stopping time in its tracks to capture the moments that make life worth living. As Becca’s assistant & 2nd photographer and right-hand woman, I provide support on a number of projects.

You’ll probably see me running around with equipment, shooting details from different angles and lenses, and ensuring that Becca's photo shoot runs smoothly. 

When I’m not taking pictures, I love going on beautiful hikes and enjoying all that Utah has to offer.
