The cracks in the earth, and crisp salt lines are a timeless staple here. The Salt Flats continue to lure tourists and locals alike to explore and enjoy its natural beauty. Like a siren calling to the seas, I cannot escape the call back to this beautiful area. Being able to capture love stories surrounded by such beauty is a gift. These classic Salt Flats engagements were an epic celebration of all things love, adventure and so much hope for the future.

Keep it Simple

Our couple opted for a simple casual look that was a great way to kick off their session. I love when my couples plan for multiple outfits as it allows for everyone to get comfortable and just enjoy themselves. The beautiful thing about adventure engagements like these is it’s truly an adventure filled afternoon. Throughout these engagements held moments of pure joy and emotion. This couple truly loves one another, and the excitement for the future was evident throughout the session.

A Stunning Blue Hour – Classic Salt Flats Engagements

After the sun had set, it was time for the real show to begin. Blue hour is one of the most popular times at the Salt Flats. The incredible hues of blue that come out to play for mere minutes are other-worldly. It’s as if the whole world begins to dim slightly and we turn the spotlights on to show off the incredible curvature of the earth. Throughout the photos our couple was able to truly embrace the fleeting moments while excitedly counting down the days for their next chapter to begin. I will forever have a love for those Salt Flats running through my veins. It’s such a powerful place to create memories to last a lifetime.
